‘Rudy, remember to dust the chair rungs this week, wouldja, hon?’

Now, this is more like it. The #SistersInLaw podcast team celebrated a listener proposal for Rudy Guiliani’s damages in the case about his defamation of election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss this week on the Dec. 16 episode.

According to co-host Barbara McQuade,

“Earlier this week I got a great email from a listener, who said that it’s too bad Norman Lear isn’t still alive, because he could be inspired to create a new TV show that would be a mashup of All in the Family, Maude and The Jeffersons, in which part of the damages award was that Moss and Freeman get Rudy’s million dollar apartment in Manhattan, and because Rudy’s broke, to pay off the rest of the damages, he has to work as their maid.”
